I'm so excited to be here, sharing my heartfelt labor of love with you – my very own Little Bean Podcast with Sarah Baldock. Picture this: a warm, inviting space, brimming with laughter, understanding, and a community that is the same wild journey as you. That's the Little Bean Podcast, an extension of my passion to help every parent-to-be and new parent enjoy each precious second on their once-in-a-lifetime journey through parenthood.

Newborn safety is of utmost importance when it comes to newborn photography. As a new parent, you want to capture every precious moment of your family's next journey, but you also want to know that your baby will be safe at all times. As a mum of three boys, this is something I am hugely passionate about - every baby who visits the studio is treated like my own. This means it's vital to choose a photographer who is knowledgeable about newborn safety and has extensive experience to ensure that your baby is comfortable and secure throughout your newborn experience.

At Sarah Baldock Portraits, I believe that we have a responsibility to take care of the planet that we live on. That's why I'm thrilled to be partnered with Ecologi to plant trees and reduce our carbon footprint. Every time a family visits our studio, I plant 25 trees with Ecologi. That's right – 25 trees for each and every family. Not only does this help to offset our carbon emissions, but it also contributes to reforestation efforts around the world.

Well, where do I start?! Ever since I achieved my Licentiateship in Newborn Photography with the Master Photographers Association (MPA) in 2018 I knew I wanted to push myself further and achieve my Associateship. It was also something that I knew would take a lot of hard work and dedication. I always want to make sure that I give every family who visits the studio the best possible memories of their precious family journey and pushing myself towards higher qualifications is the perfect way to do just that.

How amazing is a Mum-to-be?! Growing a new life is just awesome and deserves to be celebrated. This is why a Little Bean maternity experience is so special. It captures the magic of pregnancy and makes sure families can treasure it forever.

Creating once-in-a-lifetime artwork for families to treasure forever is so special. Newborn babies grow and change so quickly and creating timeless artwork is one way to always remember just how tiny they were. Creating artwork that is unique for each family is something I am passionate about. With this in mind, I recently had the idea to create a unique prop that represented the wonder of new life and it was this from this idea that one of my new props was born. I thought I would chat through how I created the prop and what it means.

The first year of your baby’s journey is full of firsts…..first smile, first roll, first tooth, first crawl and sometimes even first steps! It is such an exciting and sometimes chall enging time and it really should be celebrated. That’s why the Bathtub Birthday Experience is so popular. Not only does it celebrate this milestone Birthday but it also celebrates everything about the last 12 months. It captures precious memories while also making more once-in-a-lifetime memories too! So what happens at a Bathtub Birthday experience?

I’ve been teasing you with the new studio for a while….well finally it’s here! I am so excited to show you around! This refurbishment has been a long time in the planning and will make such a difference. It will still give every family who visits the homely feel you all love, whilst also giving me more room to capture your most precious memories.
