I absolutely adore the portraits I have of my boys and the dogs....I want you to have that too!!!!

Your dog is at the heart of your family. They are your dependable best friend, who will be by your side wherever you go and whatever you do. They may also be the one who steals the socks from the dirty washing pile but we won't mention that!


You will make so many wonderful memories with your four-legged friend and you will want to hold onto those memories forever. You'll be surprised how easy it is to forget! Just the same as your children grow up so quickly, so do your dogs! I should know as we have two dogs; Freddie the Cockerpoo and Aggie the Weimaraner! Particularly watching Aggie grow up has been a stark reminder of how fast they change. I still can't believe she was the same size as Freddie when we brought her home.....Freddie now runs under her legs to get to his tea first!


Watching how Aggie has settled into the family and how much my three boys love both Freddie and Aggie is so special and something I will always treasure. That is why I am passionate about family portraits of everyone. I am determined to make sure everyone has these same precious moments captured forever....that way you can never ever forget.

Whether you are visiting the studio for the first, second or even third time, it is not just to take a few photographs but to create new memories while also capturing timeless art. You can then relive each magical adventure over and over again and share it with all the family. 


To give every family welcomed to the studio so much more with every portrait, I have qualified to Associate level with the Master Photographers Association and the Guild of Newborn and Baby Photographers. It took many hours of training with top national and international photographers as well as time to prepare the required written documents but it was worth it to be able to offer my clients the best of everything I learned….and am still learning today.

Joshua, Samuel and Elijah are my three boys and they are my world, along with my husband Rob and our two dogs Freddie and Aggie. Our boys are typical boys and love football, cricket, Lego-building and taking Freddie and Aggie on outdoor family adventures. As you can imagine, everything is done at a thousand miles an hour and at three thousand decibels and I wouldn’t change it for the world!

Starting your journey

Get in touch and I will arrange to give you a call. You can tell me all about your gorgeous dog, what you like to get up and all the cheeky habits your dogs has (and if they haven’t got any cheeky habits could you ask them to have a word with my two dogs please!)


Your £99 booking fee secures your studio session date and you can use this when you order your artwork.

TWO

Your tail-wagging photoshoot

At my photography studio in Kings Bromley, near Lichfield in Staffordshire, we have lots of fun capturing every part of your family. From the more sensible side to the plain silly side!! Your portraits will represent your family and so I make sure I get to know all about your family even before you visit the studio.


There is never any rush in the studio and I always take a while to get to know you all and for your dog to get to know me. The more settled they are the more natural the portraits will be.

We will have chatted beforehand about styles and colour schemes so your portraits will be perfect for you.you can sit back and relax while I capture every tiny detail of your little baby.

Three

Your bespoke gallery presentation

At the end of your session I will arrange a gallery presentation appointment at a convenient time for you. This is normally in the viewing room at the studio but can also be via Zoom if that is more convenient for you. I suggest you bring your diary with you to the studio session so we can confirm a date.


There are lots of artwork samples in the studio for you to look at and feel. I will run through all the options with you and you will have a product guide to take away with you.

here's some of the most
frequently asked questions...

  • When should we book our dog photoshoot?

    I tend to get fairly booked up in advance, particularly if you need a weekend appoinment. Therefore, I suggest you book at least a month to 6 weeks before your preferred date, to avoid disappointment. 

  • Do I need to bring anything with me to the session?

    If your dog has a favourite toy, I do suggest bringing that along. It is often a good way to attract your dogs attention. If there is anything else you would like to include in your session then feel free to bring it along too and I will try my hardest to include it. It is always special when your portraits are personalised for you. Equally, don't worry if you haven't got anything you would like to bring!

  • Is there anything I should do before the photoshoot?

    We will run through how the session will work during our Zoom call, so you should be familiar with what is going to happen. The only thing you really need to do before the session is have a think about where you will want to display your artwork and if there is anything you want to include.

  • Do you include family portraits?

    Yes definitely! It is so important to capture your whole family in your portraits. You will be surprised at how many families choose these portraits as their main wall art. I recommend that everyone wear fairly neutral clothes. Either all black or all white tops with jeans work really well. You will receive information nearer your session but if you have any queries before do feel free to get in touch.

  • What should we wear for the family portraits?

    I will run through this in more details during your Zoom call before your session, but I always suggest wearing neutral, unpatterened clothes. All wearing black, white or cream tops works really well. You may be sitting on the floor with your dog during the family portraits, so I do suggest wearing some that is comfortable and practical for this sort of thing.

  • Do I need to bring treats?

    I do use positive reward treats in your session. I do ask if you know if your dog has any allergies. If you would prefer I use your dog's favpurite toy instead then that is no problem at all. We can chat through this at our Zoom consultation call before your session.

  • How long will the session last?

    Your studio session will normally be around 60 minutes long, although this will depend on how quickly your dog settles in the studio. Everything is done at your dog's speed. I will always give your dog plenty of time to settle in the studio and explore the surroundings before we start the session.

  • When can we see our gallery?

    At the end of your session I will arrange a gallery presentation appointment at a convenient time for you. This is normally in the viewing room at the studio but can also be via Zoom if that is more convenient for you. I suggest you bring your diary with you to the studio session so we can confirm a date.
