Timeless maternity portraits designed just for you

Your body is amazing! It sounds very 'twee' but it's true. It never ceases to amaze me at how wonderful Mums-to-be are as their bodies create new life.

There is nothing more special than celebrating this life-changing time than with maternity portraits and I love making Mums-to-be look and feel as beautiful as they really are. You may not always feel it towards the end of your pregnancy but I can guarantee you will look back at your maternity portraits and remember how special it was.

I want to make sure every Mum- and Dad-to-be has a fun experience and creates maternity portraits that are special to them. With this in mind, I always schedule a Zoom call about a week before your session. During this call I get to learn a bit more about Mum- and Dad-to-be. I chat about what style of maternity portraits they like, and sometimes what they don't like too!

I always encourage Mums- and Dads-to-be to try a few different styles. You will be amazed at how much fun you can have creating maternity portraits and how certain portraits you think may not 'be your style', end up being your favourite portraits and the ones you choose for your artwork!

Which are your favourite maternity portraits?

There are many different styles of maternity portraits and your portrait sessions are always styled for you.

Maybe you prefer portraits that include your favourite maternity outfit.....we all have that one outfit that we feel most comfortable in and that we always go to throughout pregnancy. Maybe you like the classic portraits with a simple white shirt and jeans.

Or maybe you want to do something a little different. I have a number of beautiful dresses available for you to choose from, as well as stunning chiffon scarves, all of which emphasise the beauty of your 'bump'. With lots of different styles and colours, there is something for everyone.

Then there are the semi-nude portraits, These are absolutely stunning and very popular with Mums-to-be. With specialist lighting and delicate posing, these portraits allow the focus to be entirely on the beautiful shape of Mum-to-be. They are great fun as well!

Don't worry if you have got one single favourite style.......we can include them all and then you have a perfect gallery of portraits to treasure forever.

Don't forget to involve siblings too!

Becoming a big brother or sister is a very important job and one that needs to be celebrated too. It is also a great way to make older siblings feel part of their growing family. They can sometimes feel a little left out and this is a great way to make them feel part of the journey.

We have outfits for siblings that will complement our dresses for Mum and make for a truly timeless portrait you will want to display forever. It is a very special memory of your family's journey.

Have fun while capturing your family's journey

Whatever your style, I can guarantee you will enjoy your time in the studio. I love to make your portrait session fun, include the whole family, and make sure you capture your perfect portraits.

Your family is on a very special journey and your portrait session should be part of that journey. You should be able to look back at your portraits and remember this precious time forever.

Newborn safety is of utmost importance when it comes to newborn photography. As a new parent, you want to capture every precious moment of your family's next journey, but you also want to know that your baby will be safe at all times. As a mum of three boys, this is something I am hugely passionate about - every baby who visits the studio is treated like my own. This means it's vital to choose a photographer who is knowledgeable about newborn safety and has extensive experience to ensure that your baby is comfortable and secure throughout your newborn experience.
